We are grateful to Cassandra Dillard (Secretary of Dougasville Democrats) for volunteering to be the events coordinator for the Annual Family Fun Day event by The Friends of Sweetwater Creek State Park (Jimmy Farrell, President) and Rep. Bruce's office.  We want to extend a hearty appreciation to Carolyn MCKenzie for doing that last year and making it a wonderful event. Hands On Atlanta - Summer 2009
Since 2003, the Summer Youth Fellows program has been providing high school students with  the opportunity to earn money while serving the community. Interns will work part-time for eight  weeks at a nonprofit organization where they receive a stipend and transportation assistance; exposure to the professional workplace; and the opportunity to develop a project.
